Description: MCLA is a thriving architectural lighting design firm founded in 1996 by Maureen Moran. As a full service lighting firm, MCLA collaborates with architects, designers and owners to create places for working, learning, visiting, conferencing and socializing. MCLA’s work spans the continental US and extends to Europe, Central and South America, Asia, and the Middle East. Our staff includes Lighting Certified (LC) designers, LEED Green Associates, and a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). We work with state-of-the-art computer resources: • AutoCAD 2012 – computer-aided design and drafting • AGi32 – lighting calculations and daylight simulations • Revit – building information modeling MCLA is 100% woman-owned and certified as a CBE in Washington, D.C., MBE by Maryland Department of Transportation, SWaM by Virginia Department of Minority Business Enterprise, and nationally by Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
