The Bupa Global Challenge in Miami included sportive and recreational activities such as teamwork projects, rock climbing, house bounces for children to play in, and active options for all age groups promoting the company's vision as healthcare partners providing expertise for life. In Bolivia, 250 active cyclists joined a total of 500 participants who exercised together in Santa Cruz de la Sierra to benefit DAVOSAN, a non-for-profit organization helping the underserved. In Ecuador, cyclists pedalled together in Chaquiñán de Cumbayá to benefit Fundación Corazones Valientes helping underprivileged children suffering from Cancer. In Mexico, staff got moving and joined efforts to build homes for Ayúdame que yo También soy Mexicano, providing shelter to those who need it most. The initiative encouraged employees to lead by example, by adopting healthy lifestyles, and provided an opportunity for colleagues to work together towards one common goal.
