The social enterprise pioneers at New York University’s School of Law envisioned a single place online to help the legal community track and be a part of social enterprises. They wanted the information portal to be user friendly and accessible across a wide range of devices.
We began this project with empathizing with the end-user (law practitioners) as best we could. How would they want to navigate through a web app? How would information best be presented? These are the questions that sparked exciting User Experience Design. The end result was an interactive map of the United States, built upon the latest scalable graphics and technology. This allowed users to quickly access states they were researching and get up-to-date information about the legal status. To top it off, we created shortcuts for the team at NYU to easily update the complex data using their familiar spreadsheets and text editing programs. All in all, we’re proud to be a part of this project as it opens access to more people and can help accelerate social impact business growth in the US.
